Journalist and writer, author of Pompa y circunstancia. Diccionario sentimental de la cultura inglesa [Pomp and Circumstance. Sentimental Dictionary of the English Culture] (Fórcola, 2014) and La vista desde aquí. Una conversación con Valentí Puig [The View from Here. Chatting with Valentí Puig] (Elba, 2017). Translator and prologuist of works by Evelyn Waugh, Louis Auchincloss, J. K. Huysmans, Rudyard Kipling, Valle-Inclán or Augusto Assía, among others. He directed and coordinated the edition of Lo mejor de Ambos Mundos [The Best of Both Worlds] (Renacimiento, 2013). He is also the author of several art monographics.

In his career as a journalist, he started as a political correspondent for El Confidencial Digital, went on to become cultural columnist and editor-in-chief of La Gaceta de los Negocios. In 2012 he founded and directed Ambos Mundos, an internet project of cultural journalism which featured the best writers in the country. Regular collaborator of literary journalism, political opinion and of two of his special interest topics, literature and cooking, he has published in many Spanish newspapers like El País, El Mundo, ABC, La Vanguardia, La Razón, El Español or Libertad Digital, as well as in magazines as Ínsula, Leer, Turia, Revista de Libros, Nueva Revista, Letras Libres, F. La Revista del Foment, Revista de Occidente, Litoral, Clarín, Esquire, Tapas or National Geographic. Likewise, he is a chronicler of Spanish politics for Latin American media as El Comercio in Lima, El Nuevo Siglo in Bogotá or El Nacional in Caracas.

In the field of communication, he has served as advisor of numerous relevant national politicians. As regards his lecturing or teaching skills, he has presented his many works in several institutions such as Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, the Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales, the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea in Barcelona or La Térmica in Málaga.

Currently, Peyró is the director of the digital edition of Nueva Revista, board member of the EFE agency, chief of the online opinion project The Objective, columnist for several media, and counsellor of the Chairman’s Cabinet of the Spanish government.
